at some stage last week I made a decision to cycle from London to Yorkshire. It wasn't so much of a random choice, as I'm going there anyway for a big party.
This weekend it became real: I bought the bike that will bring me there. I have a single gear bike that I use around the city, but I'm not sure how long that will last under the load I will be carrying and the terrain I'll be traversing.
